"Dom.ru" started assembling its equipment in Russia. The leaders of worldwide telecom market - Korean HUMAX and KAON, French Ekinops - signed memorandums of cooperation with "Dom.ru" on July 20 during Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum. In September the operator launched serial production of "Dom.ru TV Mini" TV-tuners in Perm, Russia. 2015 became the year of the development
of mobile technologies for television. "Dom.ru" expanded the abilities of its "Dom.ru TV to Go" multiscreen service. This service allows watching favorite TV programs and shows on gadget screens anywhere
in Russia with the use of wireless internet access. By launching a new high-speed plan in 5 cities,
the provider proved its technological leadership. Now the citizens of Penza, Ryazan, Tula, Cheboksary
and Chelyabinsk can go online with the speed of 200 MB/sec.
The company introduced two new devices to connect to a digital TV. The innovative «Dom.ru TV» set-top box has expanded the traditional idea of watching TV via such services as multiscreen (ability to watch 60 TV channels on mobile devices and PC), catch-up (3-day TV library for 20 channels), video-on-demand
by the world film studios, multi-level content search and mobile remote. The new STB led to the further development of the service with the account of the world trends to have the opportunity to customize
the airings. A distinctive feature of the second device named "Dom.ru TV Mini" is the possibility to connect it to any TV, including out of date models. "Dom.ru" established the leadership position on the pay-per-view TV market. The subscribers of HD-Television can watch 163 channels, 56 of which are broadcasted
in modern HD-format, and that is the maximum amount on Russian market. The operator improves
its client service system. In 2014 the software of call centers was updated and new interactive communication channels were launched.
"Dom.ru" strengthened the position of an operator offering Russian audience the biggest number
of HD channels. The company increased its amount from 35 to 50 over the year. Besides, more
than 100 channels can be watched in a standard digital format.
"Dom.ru" Wi-Fi network is the biggest in the Russian regions. There are around 5000 thousand spots
of free internet access in 56 cities.
Launch of "Dom.ru Business" - a brand focused on corporate clients. It contained a strategy of package offers for companies of all market branches. Launch of HD-television "Dom.ru TV" with an essentially
new format in 19 cities. Speed acceleration up to 100 MB/sec. "Dom.ru" connects its 5 millionth subscriber in November.
