ER-Telecom has executed the pilot project on the implementation of the innovative service “Video-Surveillance” on the basis of the Urban Universal Telecom Network (UUTN).

The new product of ER-Telecom has no rivals in the video-surveillance market of Russian regions. The uniqueness of this service is based on the application of the latest cloud technologies. This means that contrary to traditional video-surveillance methods, upon the connection of the new ER-Telecom service the subscriber is provided “turnkey” corporate video-surveillance system: ER-Telecom takes upon itself all the trouble associated with software, ensuring smooth system operation and safe data warehousing in a video archive.

The cloud structure of the service ensures scalability, fail safety and flexibility of the system. An important advantage of ER-Telecom video-surveillance service is also the simple service management: the subscriber may install the client software, control the operation and choose auxiliary options on its own via his or her account from any place with internet connection without calling specialists to his or her office.

The pioneers, who will get the chance to subscribe for this revolutionary service of video-surveillance without additional costs of equipment, software, infrastructure and technical staff, will be the company’s corporate customers in Saint-Petersburg, Samara, Tula, Nizhny Novgorod, and Novosibirsk. According to the project’s development plans, further on this service will be offered in all the cities of the holding’s operations. Currently, the first customers of the retail segment are already taking the advantage of this service.

“Having analyzed the needs of corporate customers, our company has developed a fundamentally new product. ER-Telecom video-surveillance system based on cloud technologies will allow using the service capabilities to the maximum extent with minimal costs to improve the efficiency of work and the safety of business processes. Now to prevent the leakage of confidential information, protect life and health of employees and visitors it’s enough to just connect an ip-camera to our network, all the rest is just a matter of technique!”, says Elena Ventslavovich, the head of interregional corporate projects services of CJSC ER-Telecom Holding.
